At this time last year Isaiah Wilkins was averaging 22 points per game as a senior at Mount Tabor High School in Winston Salem, NC, but he didn’t know what was next. The 6’3′ guard had no scholarship offers. Today, Wilkins is preparing to play in the Sweet 16 with the Virginia Tech Hokies against one of the many North Carolina schools that overlooked him. It’s something that fuels him every time he steps on the court. Carolina Blitz spoke with the freshman about that and the upcoming matchup against Duke.
