Historically, Clemson vs. South Carolina has been one of the most heated rivalries in college sports and although it’s been unofficially called the “Battle of the Palmetto State” and the “Palmetto Bowl” for years, the two schools have officially agreed on a name for their annual game.

Before next year’s contest a trophy and logo will be unveiled.
