After six straight losses, it was the seventh to Carolina that was the breaking point for the New Orleans Saints. Maybe they thought they were going to walk into Bank of America Stadium and “get right” against the worst team in the league or maybe it was the false visions of grandeur they had about their own 2-6, now 2-7 squad, but New Orleans players are crashing out about Sunday’s loss on social media and Panthers players wanted all the smoke.
Panthers’ corner back Jaycee Horn responded to a tweet by Saints’ defender Cam Jordan.
“We just lost to the panthersā¦ I love yāall New Orleans truly had higher expectations and the best of hopes for us, yāall deserve it,” Jordan said.
“Donāt we got the same record or Iām trippin? Man watch out š dubs!,” Horn replied.
Panthers’ corner back Lonnie Johnson has a lengthier exchange with Saints defensive tackle Khalen Saunders.
“Mfs is cheek bones smh. New Orleans yall deserve better. My only goal is to finish above 500 at this point,” Saunders tweeted.
“Damn bro so what that make yall then?,” Johnson. replied.
“Lmao Lonnie please donāt get ya feelings hurt over this app brother. Go enjoy ya win my boy and we will see yall in Cabo pronto!,” Sauders said.
“Hurt who feelings we literally in the same position you was in Kc with Mahomes we canāt even talk about that!! Better keep this shit Nola and Carolina!! Im the biggest troll on this app trust me !! Iāll start posting screenshots and end all this shit,” Johnson replied.
“Lol do what you gotta do brother we both 2-7, and you donāt wanna troll a troll big brudda Iām with all dat, just be humble in victory and defeat. Cuz next week when yall get yall head stomped in you gon be sitting there wit the i eat ass face šall love tho once again,” Saunders added.
“šššš,” Johnson replied.
After the back and forth with Johnson ended, Saunders called the game between the Panthers and the Saints the “Cottonelle DooDoo Bowl.”
Who would’ve thought a week nine loss to the Panthers would break the Saints like this…
