Duke sharp shooter AJ Griffin injured his ankle during the Blue Devils’ win over Michigan State. Griffin wouldn’t return late in the game and there were questions about if the freshman forward will be available for Duke’s Sweet 16 matchup against the Texas Tech Raiders.
During his pregame press conference head coach Mike Krzyzewski said that Griffin will be “fine and able to play.” Krzyzewski added that he practiced Tuesday with minimal soreness.
Griffin is shooting a team best 46% from three and averaging 10.3 points per game.
