For Saturday’s historic men’s basketball game that will mark head coach Mike Krzyzewski’s final game on the sidelines at Cameron Indoor Stadium, a full day of events are planned, including ESPN College GameDay at 10 a.m., a megacast of Duke-North Carolina on ESPN and ACC Network that evening, and pre and postgame ceremonies to honor Coach K.
Coach K Pre and Postgame Ceremonies
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the game as Coach K will be honored on the court pregame, along with his former players that are in attendance. Following the game, Coach K will return to the court that bears his name to address the crowd, and for several special presentations. ESPN plans to air both ceremonies live on the network.
Doors to Cameron Indoor Stadium for the game open at 5 p.m. for the general public, 4 p.m. for Duke students and Club Blue Devil, and 4:30 p.m. for Champions Club and Legacy. Special gifts and collectibles will be provided to fans attending Saturday’s game including a Coach K poster, blue 1K logo letters and a commemorative magazine that encapsulates Coach K’s remarkable career.
ESPN & ACC Network Megacast Information
ESPN will have its traditional College GameDay set inside Cameron Indoor Stadium for the two-hour show that begins at 10 a.m. ET. Doors to Cameron for College GameDay open at 8:30 a.m. and admission is free. Parking information is located below.
Both ESPN and ACC Network will have sets outside Cameron Indoor Stadium – ESPN on Morton Plaza overlooking Krzyzewskville and ACC Network’s on Tribull Plaza across from the Duke Team Store.
The ESPN set on Morton Plaza will begin live updates during Thursday night’s SportsCenter and continuing through halftime of the Michigan State-Ohio State game on ESPN Thursday night. Live updates from the outdoor set continue throughout the day on Friday, and at halftime of the Saturday afternoon games on ESPN.
ACC Network is airing a special 90-minute pregame show from its set that begins at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Live coverage on ACC Network will continue during the Duke-UNC game with a special second-screen telecast to compliment the game on ESPN. Following the game, the ACC Network’s Nothing But Net postgame show will be live on Morton Plaza.
Ticket Information
Due to the game’s unprecedented demand and the prevalence of counterfeit tickets, fans should use caution in purchasing tickets from the secondary market or other non-Duke related sites.
College GameDay Fan Information
Admission to Cameron Indoor Stadium for ESPN College GameDay is free. The doors open to the general public at 8:30 a.m. ET. General public entry will be through the upper level doors of Cameron Indoor Stadium – South Hall of Honor entrance off of Whitford Drive and through the Duke Basketball Museum next to Krzyzewskiville.
Club Blue Devil will be open 9-11:30 a.m. located in the Hall of Fame – and will be serving mimosas, seltzer and beer.
College GameDay Parking Information
Iron Duke Parking Lots will open at 7 a.m. ET and operate as normal for guests with a Men’s Basketball Iron Duke parking pass. For guests who do not have Iron Duke Parking, parking for ESPN College GameDay will be free of charge from 7-12 p.m. ET. After 12 p.m., there will be a $15 charge, CASH ONLY.
General public parking passes may be purchased ahead of time for $10 by going to my.parking.duke.edu and clicking on the Duke vs. UNC event button. If fans do not already have an account, follow the steps to register for One Link to purchase a pass.
General parking for College GameDay will be available in the general public parking lots on Circuit Drive. A courtesy shuttle will run on a continuous loop from the Circuit Lots to Whitford Drive from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
Accessible parking will be available in the Whitford Lot. Guests must relocate their vehicles by 1 p.m. from the Whitford Lot for the game at 6 p.m.
