The Tar Heels are scheduled to travel to Las Vegas to take on UCLA Saturday in the CBS Sports Classic, but with the Bruins cancelling their Wednesday night game against Alabama State just hours before tip-off due to COVID-19 protocols, status of the marquis matchup is in question.
Thursday morning, UNC officials announced that the game has not been cancelled and the team will practice and travel as if the show will go on. The Tar Heels will be in touch with the UCLA program and health officials throughout the day and provide updates about the game status as needed.
