One of the major questions headed into this season was if the Panthers would be able to reach an agreement with right tackle Taylor Moton. Thursday afternoon, just an hour before the deadline to do so, Carolina and Moton agreed to terms on a 4-year $72 million dollar extension that included $43 million in guaranteed money.
Moton’s signing adds long-term stability to an offensive line where he has been the only consistent presence in recent years. His deal makes him one of the highest paid offensive linemen in the National Football League.
