Cam Newton Signs 1-Year Deal with Patriots

Former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has a new home. He’ll be suiting up for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots next year.

The incentive laden deal is reportedly worth $7.5 million.

Former NFL MVP Cam Newton has reached agreement on a one-year, incentive-laden deal with the New England Patriots, league sources tell @mortreport and me.

Newton now will step into the mix to try to help replace former Patriots’ QB Tom Brady.

Newton responded to the deal by posting on the Instagram story that he’s excited.

Newton played in just two games last year with the Panthers before being sidelined the remainder of the season with a foot injury.
