Duke vs UNC. Miami vs Florida State. Michigan vs Ohio State. Panthers vs Falcons.
Intense rivalies (no matter how big or small) are every sports fan’s dream. And outside of beating your rival, I can’t think of anything better than watching them trick-off a 25 point lead on the biggest stage in sports and celebrating the day every year just to rub it in their faces. That’s exactly what a Carolina Panthers fan did today (3-28).
@95KeepPouding started a giving campaign encouraging fans to donate $25 to their favorite charity or give 25 minutes of their time to celebrate the 25 point lead the Atlanta Falcons gave up in Super Bowl LI.
@Panthers fans, tomorrow is 3/28. Personally I will never forget the @AtlantaFalcons blowing a 25pt lead in the Super Bowl. Make sure to donate 25 tomorrow. Whether it’s $25 or 25 minutes of your time. Mine is going to the @TDDDF. Make a difference. #HowWillYou25 https://t.co/VzqS3MbgWy

I asked “SalesMan” why he started the campaign and what the response has been:
“I started it because seeing the Falcons crumble like no other team had ever crumbled gave me a feeling of joy. I felt the memory of Matt Ryan choking should not be forgotten but celebrated annually on 3/28 by giving 25. Whether it’s giving a quick 25 minutes of your time to a cause during your lunch break or donating $25 to your favorite charity. Thomas Davis’s foundation does some great things with local youth so that’s how I choose to 25. Never let an epic Super Bowl collapse go to waste. #HowWillYou25 #KeepPounding
What a fantastically shady idea. Hopefully it will catch on and Carolina faithful can really stick to their 85 South foes every March.
