The North Carolina Central University basketball team, lead by head coach LeVelle Moton, has been a dominate force in the MEAC 4 of the last 5 years. So understandably, their coach, alumni and fans took exception when the Washington Post referred to them as “Durham’s Other Team”.

The “other” is referencing the fact that college basketball powerhouse Duke also calls Durham home.
When coach Moton caught wind of the tweet he responded, prompting an apology from the newspaper.
@PostSports Dear Post Sports, Our name is NC Central, not "Other"…..Nice to meet you!

The Eagles will play UC Davis in Thursday’s First Four play-in game.
