Despite being projected as a first-round pick on some mock NBA draft boards, Duke sophomore Grayson Allen has announced that he will return for his junior year, in hopes on helping the Blue Devils win a National Championship with their monster recruiting class.
“I love Duke and I’ve made relationships with my teammates that will last forever. Coming back next season to play with them is important to me. Earning a Duke degree has always been a dream of mine, so I’ll also be working to get closer to that goal.”
Allen announced his decision Wednesday, along with a video that’s sure to get Duke faithful excited about next season.
The Blue Devils were favored to win next year’s NCAA Tournament before Allen’s announcement. This should only make things better.
