The #1 ranked college basketball recruit in the 2016 class, Harry Giles, tore his ACL on Tuesday night during Oak Hill Academy’s season opener and will miss the remainder of his senior season.

The injury occurred as he was fouled while driving to the basket within the first two minutes of play. Giles has previously recovered from a torn ACL, MCL and meniscus. He also suffered a broken third metacarpal in his left hand in practice in September.
The 6’10” forward, who has narrowed his choices to Duke, Kentucky, Kansas and Wake Forest, plans to announce his college choice Friday.
