The act of terrorism that left nine members of Emanuel AME dead shook the very fiber of the nation last week.
In an effort to ease the financial burden incurred by this tragic event, Panthers’ owner Jerry Richardson donated $10,000 to the families of each of the nine victims, as well as $10,000 to Emanuel AME church.
House of Representatives member Bakari Sellers announced the donation by sharing the letter written by Richardson via Twitter.

“We don’t want to comment on the specifics of the donation, but know our hearts are one with those who grieve the loss of these individuals,” team spokesperson Steven Drummond said.
This was an extremely classy gesture by Jerry Richardson.
