Although he’s no longer with the team, Steve Smith is still making Panther headlines, with the latest coming after the receiver went on a rant against the team and Coach Ron Rivera onCharlotte radio station WFNZ.
Rivera and Cam Newton were asked about Smith’s comments during today’s media availability and had this to say:
Cam says he’s not “about to step into” whatever might be going on btwn Rivera and Steve Smith. But says he has Rivera’s back.
