CHAPEL HILL, N.C.– UNC football announced this afternoon that general manager Michael Lombardi has resigned from his position effective September 3. This comes after it was announced on July 27 that Lombardi was placed on paid administrative leave due to an investigation as result of concerns behind undisclosed allegations.
The press release stated that “The University will continue its ongoing investigation and will consider all appropriate corrective actions responsive to the information it learns.”
