The NFL has fined Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan $14,491 dollars for what they classified as a “violent gesture” after his 39 yard catch in the 2nd quarter of Carolina’s week 11 win against the Falcons.
McMillan set career highs in catches (eight) and receiving yards (130) and tied his career high with two touchdown receptions. It marked the second-most single-game receiving yards by a Carolina rookie in franchise history, trailing only D.J. Moore’s 157 receiving yards at Detroit on Nov. 18, 2018.
