Everything You Need to Know About the Panthers vs Patriots

Coming off a win over Atlanta, the Panthers enter Week 4 against New England eager to maintain their advantage in the series and build on last week’s performance.

The game marks the Panthers fourth-straight matchup to start the season against a quarterback selected in the top 10 in the last seven drafts: Trevor Lawrence (2021), Kyler Murray (2019), Michael Penix Jr. (2024), and Drake Maye (2024).

The Panthers hold a 4-3 record against the Patriots in the regular season, one of just four teams with a winning regular season record against them since 1995.

The Panthers faced New England in Super Bowl XXXVIII, where Hall of Honor selection Jake Delhomme (inducted in 2019) produced the franchise’s first 300-yard postseason passing performance, throwing for 323 yards and three touchdowns, including an 85-yard score to 2023 Hall of Honor selection, Muhsin Muhammad. Mike Vrabel, now the Patriots head coach, then a linebacker for New
England, caught a one-yard go-ahead touchdown pass in the fourth quarter before the Panthers would tie the game with 1:08 remaining.

Coming off a Week 3 loss against the Steelers, the Patriots enter Sunday’s matchup aiming to notch back-to-back victories over the Panthers.
