The Carolina Panthers’ free agency news has been relatively quiet, despite what many thought would be an aggressive push by the front office to bolster key positions both offensively and defensively.
Saturday things heated up a bit, with the Panthers agreeing terms with offensive lineman Austin Corbett and tight end Tommy Tremble.
Corbett, who is coming off a season-ending bicep injury, agreed to a one-year deal. Specific terms of the contract have not been released.
Tremble, who finished the 2024 season with 23 catches for 234 yards and two touchdowns, inked a two-year deal reportedly worth up to $16 million with $8 million guaranteed.
Both Austin and Tommy were free agents general manager Dan Morgan said he would like to keep.
With just one day until the official start of free agency, expect to hear more news out of Carolina, including additions to the secondary and an anticipated long-term deal with corner back Jaycee Horn.
