During his Monday afternoon press conference, Carolina Panthers’ head coach Dave Canales was asked his thoughts on Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter and him being a two-way player in the NFL.
“I think about Deion Sander,” Canales replied. “He has his way to do it. Coach Prime…so he’s right there with someone who can mentor him through some of that. I think it would be a challenge. I think it would be a good challenge. A good problem to talk through for any team to get a player of that caliber.”
As of Sunday evening, the Panthers currently hold the 5th pick in the 2025 draft behind the Giants, Raiders, Patriots and Jaguars.
