Carolina opens the month of November at home to take on divisional foe, the New Orleans Saints. The two teams squared off in the season opener where the Saints were victorious, 47-10. This will mark the Panthers third NFC South matchup,
having faced New Orleans in Week One and the Atlanta Falcons in Week Six.
All-time, this will mark the 60th regular season matchup between the two divison rivals with the Saints leading 31-28. New Orleans holds a slight advantage (15-14) with games played in Carolina, having won last year’s Week Two Monday
night matchup in Bank of America Stadium, 20-17.
The Panthers enter the contest with a 1-7 record after falling to the Denver Broncos on the road, 28-14. Following Carolina’s bout against the Saints, the Panthers will travel to Munich to take on the New York Giants.
New Orleans (2-6) comes to Charlotte having lost their last six games after winning their first two contests to begin the season. The Saints have a 1-2 NFC South record, having played each division opponent at least once.
