Austin Corbett Out for Seasaon with Torn Bicep

Panthers’ center Austin Corbett left Carolina’s week five loss against the Bears with a bicep injury. As he left the locker room after the game Corbett said told us felt a pop in his arm and would go through further evaluation.

During his Monday press conference head coach Dave Canales announced that Corbett would be sidelined the remainder of the season with a torn bicep.

This is a huge loss for a Panthers’ offensive line that has made huge strides this season after being ranked near the bottom of the league last year.

Corbett has had a string of injuries the past few years, including a torn ACL in 2022 and a MCL injury to the same knee last year.

Four-year veteran Brady Christensen is expected to replace Austin in the line up.

Canales also announced that right tackle Taylor Moton, who has never missed a game during his seven year career with Carolina, will be sidelined week six with a tricep injury. His status is week-to-week.
