The Carolina Panthers announced Tuesday afternoon that they are placing wide receiver Adam Thielen and safety Jordan Fuller on injured reserve – sidelining them for at least the next four weeks.
Thielen and Fuller both sustained hamstring injuries during the Panthers’ 36-22 week three win in Vegas and didn’t return.
To fill the roster vacancies left with the moves, the Panthers elevated three players from the practice squad – Jalen Coker (WR), Demani Richardson (S) and Russ Yeast (S).
The team also announced that they are waiving tight end Messiah Swinson, releasing practice squad outside linebacker Eku Leota and signing safety Alex Cook and cornerback Justin Hardee to the practice squad.
