This is arguably the worst start to a Carolina Panthers season in the franchise’s 30 year history.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Derrick Brown, the team’s leading defensive player, suffered a potentially season-ending knee injury during the team’s 47-10 week one loss to the Saints.
Brown, who didn’t leave the game with an injury, finished the contest with one solo tackle and two assists.
