Panthers’ first round pick Xavier Legette has quickly become a fan favorite. Whether it’s his accent, authentic personality or limitless potential as a threat in the new Carolina offense, fans can’t seem to get enough of the Mullins, SC native.
Before Saturday’s practice a fan gifted the former University of South Carolina standout a custom cowboy hat.
“I commissioned Joe Bello to paint the hat for Xavier Legette,” Tray Lee told us before practice. “Its got “Mullins Made”, “XL”, a Gamecock logo on one side and a Panthers logo on the other.”
Lee, a proud fan of both teams and Sumter, SC native, said it’s “really cool” having several former South Carolina standouts on the team to cheer on.
