While the Panthers weren’t the busiest team on the first day of free agency, they did make some moves – agreeing to terms with former Dolphins guard Robert Hunt.

Hunt, who was a 2nd round pick our of Louisiana-Lafayette in 2020, agreed to a reported 5-year, $100 million deal that includes $63 million in guaranteed money.

While the Panthers gained much needed talent along the offensive line, they are losing key pieces on the defensive side of the ball.

Linebacker Frankie Luvu agreed to a 3-year, $36 million deal with the Commanders and pass rusher Brian Burns is reportedly headed to the Giants, barring a breakdown in negotiations.
