With the mid-season firing of their head coach for the second year in a row, the Carolina Panthers find themselves in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Future Panthers legend Cam Newton spoke with Barstool Sports recently about the situation in Carolina and he didn’t hold back. Newton said that Tepper “flushed the toilet” when he got to Carolina – getting rid of many of the core guys and as a result the team has no culture. He also said that the franchise should’ve retained Steve Wilks.
Newton also said he believes David Tepper would try and hire Bill Belichick as his new head coach. You can check out Newton’s full interview below.
