Amidst his firing, rumors have swirled that Panthers owner David Tepper vetoed Frank Reich’s choice of CJ Stroud as the number one overall selection in this year’s draft. During his press conference Tuesday to discuss the coaching change Tepper addressed the reports, saying that the decision to pick Young was unanimous – adding that the coaching staff, scouting department and ownership were all on one accord.
