Panthers starting offensive lineman Chandler Zavala left the team’s matchup against the Detroit Lions in the first quarter with a neck injury. Zavala, a 2023 4th round pick out of NC State, left the field on a cart and was taken to the hospital.
Per the team, Zavala is alert and able to move all his extremities. He remains at the hospital for further evaluation.
