Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young did not practice for the 2nd day in a row as the first overall pick nurses an ankle injury sustained during Monday night’s loss to the Saints. Young, who played the whole game – finishing with 22-33 for 153 yards and one touchdown, is not expect to play Sunday afternoon against the Seahawks.
With Bryce likely sidelined, the Panthers will turn to 13-year veteran Andy Dalton to lead the offense. It’s a role he’s familiar with having previously started in place of injured quarterbacks in Dallas, Chicago and New Orleans.
Brian Burns (ankle), Justin Houston (calf), Miles Sanders (pectoral) and Chandler Wooten (knee) were all limited, but did practice.
Official game statuses will be released Friday.
