The Carolina Panthers announced Tuesday morning that they agreed to term with Jim Caldwell to be a senior assistant with the team. Caldwell, who has coached in the league for nearly twenty years, has been both a head coach and offensive coordinator in the NFL. He’ll help the team in all three phases (offense, defense and special teams) and will report directly to head coach Frank Reich.
