The Carolina Panthers travel to the west coast in Week 14 for a matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. This will mark the fourth and final game of the season against NFC West opponents for Carolina.
The Panthers enter the matchup fresh off a bye week in Week 13. The week prior, Carolina defeated the Denver Broncos by a score of 23-10 to improve to 4-8 on the season.
The Seahawks enter the week with a record of 7-5 and in second place in the NFC West division after defeating the Los Angeles Rams, 27-23.
This will mark just the 15th overall matchup between the two clubs, and 12th in the regular season (three playoff games). The Seahawks hold the overall series record, 10-4 and have won five of the six matchups in Seattle.

- In his first start of the season, quarterback Sam Darnold completed 11 of 19 passes, for 164 passing yards, and a rushing and passing touchdown.
- Darnold has six rushing touchdowns since joining the Panthers in 2021, are tied for the most on the team with running back Chuba Hubbard. His six rushing touchdowns since 2021 are tied for sixth in the league among quarterbacks through week 12.
- Running back D’Onta Foreman broke the 100-yard rushing mark for the fourth time in six weeks. He finished the game with 113 yards on 24 carries (4.7 yards per carry).
- After week 12, Foreman has rushed for 526 yards, which was the fourth-most in the NFL only behind Josh Jacobs, Derrick Henry & Justin Fields. Foreman’s 4.6 yards per carry is the second-most since week 7 behind Josh Jacobs (min. 100 rush attempts). His 423 yards after contact was third in the league trailing Derrick Henry and Josh Jacobs. His four 100-yard rushing games between week 7 – 12 were the most in the NFL.
- Defensive end Brian Burns recorded his ninth and 10th sack of the season. This is Burns’ first time reaching double digit sack totals in one season. His 10 sacks were tied for fifth in the NFL.
- Burns recorded his 7th career strip-sack, which is the most among players drafted in 2019. He is now 1 of 5 players to record at least 7 sacks in each season since 2019, joining Chris Jones, Myles Garrett, Yannick Ngakoue, and Maxx Crosby.
- Wide Receiver DJ Moore recorded his second 100-yard receiving game of the season, and 14th of his career after catching 4 passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.
- Moore hauled in a 52-yard pass from Darnold, which was his 12th reception of 50+ yards in his career. He now has the most receptions of at least 50 yards since he entered the league in 2018.

- Seattle’s ninth ranked offense, aided by a 43.0% conversion rate on third down (9th NFL), ranks sixth in the NFL with just 18 three-and-outs (3 plays & punt on fourthdown) this season. It is the fewest three-and-outs by a Seattle offense through the first 12 games of a season in the Pete Carroll era since 2010.
