Battle Tested Wolfpack Ready For Ranked Showdown With Orange.

The #15 NC State Wolfpack begin their yearly State Fair trip Saturday afternoon with a clash against 18th-ranked Syracuse.

Kickoff is slated for 3:30 PM inside the JMA Wireless Dome and can be seen on the ACC Network.

NC State heads to Syracuse fresh off a furious second-half comeback where the Wolfpack defeated Florida State 19-17 last Saturday in Raleigh. NC State overcame a 17-3 deficit to extend their win streak inside of Carter-Finley Stadium to 14 games.

With the win, the Wolfpack may have taken a loss with quarterback Devin Leary getting injured. All signs point to the possibility of grad transfer and walk-on Jack Chambers starting Saturday. Chambers entered the game last week in the third quarter leading the Wolfpack to three scoring drives helping NC State score the final 16 points of the game.

Syracuse enters the contest at 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the ACC. Most recently the Orange overpowered Wagner 59-0 before sliding by ACC foe Virginia 22-20. Cuse and State share one common opponent with both dominating UConn during non-conference action in September. The Orange are led by Dino Babers in his 7th year.
