The Carolina Panthers enter the second game of a three-game home stand by welcoming the Arizona Cardinals in Week Four. The Panthers enter the week 1-2 after picking up the first win of the 2022 season against the New Orleans Saints by a score of 22-14. Arizona comes to Carolina with a 1-2 record after losing to the Los Angeles Rams in Week Three, 12-20. This will mark the fourth consecutive season the two NFC teams have played each other.

- After not recording a turnover in the first two weeks, the Panther defense forced three Saints’ turnovers, including a Frankie Luvu forced fumble that was recovered and returned for a touchdown by Marquis Haynes Sr. Haynes’ touchdown marked the first Panther defensive touchdown since Jeremy Chinn scored twice in 2020 against Minnesota (11/20/20).
- Cornerback Jaycee Horn and defensive tackle Derrick Brown both recorded interceptions marking the first time the team has recorded multiple interceptions in one game since week eight in 2021 against Atlanta.
- The Panthers were able to find success in all three phases of the game in week three, including special teams. Carolina recorded a blocked field goal right before half, marking the first time since Week 13 of 2019 against Washington (12/1/19).
- Punter Johnny Hekker recorded four punts inside the 20 for the second consecutive week, the most in consecutive weeks in team history since Michael Palardy
(8) in Weeks Eight and Nine of 2017. Hekker is currently tied for third league-wide with eight punts inside the 20.

- QB Baker Mayfield had a touchdown versus 0 interceptions & 83.8 rating last week against the Saints. Mayfield passed for two touchdowns versus one interception for a 102.4 rating in his last start versus Arizona (10/17/21 w/ Cleveland) and aims for his third game in row versus Arizona with 2+ touchdown passes a 90+ rating.
- RB Christian McCaffrey had 115 scrimmage yards (108 rush, 7 rec.) in Week 3
