Matt Rhule would not confirm who will take the first snap at quarterback when the Panthers suit up against the Commanders in their preseason opener, but after Thursday’s Fan Fest at Bank of America Stadium he did tell us that Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold will each play a series.
Rhule also added that starters are expected to play between 8 -15 snaps.
The Panthers versus Commanders kicks off Saturday from FedEx Field at 7pm.
