Everything You Need to Know About NC State’s Spring Game

NC State Football’s 2022 Spring Game presented by GiGi’s Playhouse is set for April 9 at Carter-Finley Stadium. Prior to the game, which will kick off at 1 p.m., attendees can enjoy games, food and music at the inaugural Raleighwood Fan Fest.

The game will be broadcast live on ACCNX and re-aired at 7 p.m. on the ACC Network. The squad will be broken into two teams (Red and White) and the contest will run like a normal game in terms of scoring, play clock, down/distance, and penalties, with live tackling for a portion of the event. The second half will feature a running clock.

A new addition for 2022 is the Raleighwood Fan Fest, which will feature activities for all ages. The Fan Fest will take place in the Raleighwood area of the stadium, located in the north end zone, and will open at 10:30 a.m. for Wolfpack Club members, 11 a.m. for all other fans. It will include an inflatable obstacle course, a field goal challenge, carnival games, tailgate games, face painters balloon artists, a photobooth and live music. The area will also boast food trucks and a beer garden.

Parking and admission to the game and the Fan Fest is free and parking lots open at 10 a.m. Gates to the stadium will open at noon.

The night before the spring game, Wolfpack Football is hosting a former player reunion, with more than 250 former players planning to return. The alums will be in attendance at the game and will be recognized on the field at halftime.

Also at halftime, the football program will celebrate a special national letter of intent signing, as Team IMPACT will be on hand to help Wolfpack Nation welcome a very special new member to the Wolfpack family (for more information on Team IMPACT, go to TeamImpact.org).

The Wolfpack is proud to welcome GiGi’s Playhouse as the sponsor for the spring game. GiGi’s Playhouse is a Down Syndrome Achievement Center offering educational, therapeutic and career building programs to individuals with Down Syndrome, their families and the community. Participants from GiGi’s will take part in various gameday activities including the coin toss, a pregame tunnel and even some action on the field during the game.
