What Do Your Favorite Tar Heels and Blue Devils Do to Get Themselves Ready for a Big Game?

Many athletes have game day routines to ease their nerves. Before the biggest matchup of their lives, I asked some of your favorite Tar Heels and Blue Devils what are their favorite pregame rituals and artists they listen to.

Wendell Moore: Meditation and says he listens to Gunna, Lil Baby, Da Baby, NBA Youngboy

Paolo Banchero: Facetime his friends and family, music, laying down watching TV and keeping to himself

Jeremy Roach: Meditates to ease the anxiety

Trevor Keels: Video games help ease his mind. He plays Madden or other sports games

AJ Griffin: Prays to help him get him ready before a game. “There’s no reason to be afraid”

Mark Williams: ” I usually play video games to ease my mind off of things. I don’t try to change it up too much, just keep it simple.”

Brady Manek: “I’m more of a sit there and listen to music. I’ll listen to anything from Lil Wayne to Eminem. Sometimes I’ll throw in a country song and sometimes I’ll even listen to some Celine Dion.”

Armando Bacot: “I’m a Playbio Carti fan and I’ve been listening to a lot of Yeat. Those are my main rotation right now.”

RJ Davis: ” My favorite artist is Lil Durk. That’s all I really listen to to get me ready for a game.”

Leaky Black: “I listen to Lil Durk, Nardo Wick, Lil Wayne, G Herbo. A lot of meditation, talking to my family.” Leaky mentioned he talked to Lil Durk about getting Durk tickets to the game and G Herbo hit Caleb up about trying to get tickets to the game.

Caleb Love: “Just listening to music and focusing on the task at hand. I listen to Gunna, Lil Baby, and Lil Durk.”

To no one’s surprise Lil Durk, Lil Baby, and Gunna are popular with the players. Hours before the biggest games of their lives these are what your Tar Heels and Blue Devils will be doing.
