Panthers wideout DJ Moore has agreed to a three-year extension according to the team in an announcement made Friday afternoon.
The deal will keep Moore in Charlotte through the 2025 season. In his four years with the Panthers, Moore has totaled 4,313 yards and caught 14 touchdowns. He is also the only Panthers receiver that’s recorded over 1,200 yards from the line of scrimmage.
This is a move that Carolina was expected to make regardless of the Deshaun Watson situation. Moore has been the source of consistency on a fluctuating Panthers squad. Now with Moore in the fold, they can make moves to further solidify the position, while continuing their search for a quarterback.
