Free agency is in full swing, with several transactions shaking up the Panthers’ roster. Here’s a list of what happened Monday:
- First thing this morning the Panthers announced they are planning to release cornerback AJ Bouye and linebacker Morgan Fox. The move frees up about $6.5 million in cap space.
- Pass rusher Haason Reddick agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Eagles.
- Carolina filled their need at safety along side Jeremy Chinn with the signing of Xavier Woods. Woods had 108 tackles and three interceptions for the Vikings last season.
- The Panthers will get some much needed help along the offensive line after agreeing to terms with guard Austin Corbett. Corbett started all 17 games for the LA Rams last season.
NOTE: The Panthers are still pursuing DeShaun Watson and reportedly met with quarterback today in Houston.
