Much has been made about Chris Carrawell’s refusal to shake Hubert Davis’ hand after the Tar Heels defeated the Blue Devils this past Saturday. Tuesday, during his pre-ACC Tournament press conferences, Davis said he’s had a conversation with both Jon Scheyer and Chris Carrawell and they’re in a “great spot.”
“I had a conversation with Jon Scheyer yesterday and also Chris Carrawell. I had two great conversations with both of them. My relationship with Coach K and the rest of the coaching staff before the game was in a great spot and it’s in a great spot right now. I really enjoyed my conversations with Jon and also Chris. At the end of our conversation we both wished each other luck for the remainder of the season.”
Both UNC and Duke will start their post-season play Thursday in the ACC Tournament.
