With free agency on the horizon, the Panthers have agreed to terms with tight end Ian Thomas. Thomas was set to be an unrestricted free agent starting March 16th.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the three-year deal is worth $16.5 million. Ian will get $6.435 million cash year in year one and $8 million fully guaranteed.
Thomas, who has been in Carolina since being selected by the Panthers in the 4th round of the NFL draft, finished last season with 18 receptions for 188 yards.
