Panthers Agree to Terms with Frankie Luvu

The Carolina Panthers announced today that they have agreed to a two-year contract extension with linebacker Frankie Luvu. Luvu, who was an integral part of special teams and Carolina’s linebacker corps, was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in March.

Frankie finished the season with 1.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, and a forced fumble and fumble recovery on defense. He was also second on the team in special teams tackles, had a forced fumble and a blocked punt.
