The eyes of women’s basketball will again be on Raleigh tonight as the NC State Wolfpack host the Louisville Cardinals in a top-five, national television broadcast rematch of the 2021 ACC Championship game Thursday night inside Reynolds Coliseum.
This will be the second top-five showcase in Raleigh this season as the Wolfpack opened up the season hosting top-ranked South Carolina.
NC State (16-2) is currently ranked fourth in the country with both losses coming against ranked opponents in South Carolina and Georgia. Both of those losses have come at home for the Wolfpack.
Louisville (15-1) enters the contest with their lone defeat coming against number nine ranked UConn back in December.
Could this be a preview of the ACC Championship? Final Four preview? Either way, GREAT basketball will be on display for the country to see as the ladies of the ACC have clearly carried the load for basketball this season.
