McCaffrey’s Back: Panthers’ Wednesday Injury Report

Christian McCaffrey has been designated to return from injured reserve and practiced with the team Wednesday in a limited capacity. McCaffrey has been nursing a hamstring injury since the Panthers’ week-three Thursday night win against the Houston Texans.

“He was pretty limited; not a ton of plays,” Rhule said after practice. “Just trying to begin the process of working him back. He hasn’t practiced with us in several weeks and this is his first day back. We’ll see how he looks tomorrow, in terms of this weekend and his availability.”
