The Carolina Panthers had until 4pm Tuesday to trim their roster to from 90 players to 85. Scott Fitterer and company did so by making a few transactions.
Carolina traded offensive lineman Greg Little to the Dolphins in exchange for a 2022 7th round draft pick. The former 2019 2nd round draft pick spent a lot of his rookie campaign in the league’s concussion protocol. Once healthy, Little didn’t see much playing time – never finding his footing in Carolina.
In other transactions, Troy Pride, who injured his right knee during Sunday’s preseason opener, was placed on the injured reserved list and the team released veteran fullback Rod Smith, waived/injured center Mike Panasiuk, and waived/injured linebacker Nate Hall.
