As part of the NFL’s Play Football Month initiative and the Carolina Panthers on-going efforts to support football at the grassroots level, the team christened the new Bank of America Stadium game field by providing a unique practice experience to three local high schools. Hickory Ridge, Nation Ford and West Mecklenburg High Schools each held their own private practices on the new stadium field Aug 3-4.
In addition to practicing on the Panthers game field, each team received autographed Panthers footballs awarded to each team’s offensive and defensive practice player of the day, as well as receiving tickets to the August 21st Baltimore Ravens vs. Panthers pre-season home game.
