Jordan Brand and the Charlotte Sports Foundation announced Wednesday a three-year deal to host the Jumpman Invitational. The inaugural college basketball event will be held at the Spectrum arena in Charlotte, NC starting in 2022.
The event, starting December 20-21, 2022, will feature North Carolina, Michigan, Florida, and Oklahoma – the four original Jordan brand teams.
Each school’s men’s and women’s basketball team will be apart of the holiday event. ESPN networks will air all games, which include two games being played at night.
Danny Morrison, executive director of the Sports Foundation, stated the invitational may expand the event to other Jordan affiliated schools during the 2023-24 season.
