Teddy Bridgewater Responds to Being Traded to Broncos

After a tumultuous year that started with having the tough task of replacing fan-favorite Cam Newton and ended with a disappointing season in which his play declined as the season progressed, Teddy Bridgewater’s stint in Carolina is over.

Just one day ahead of the the NFL Draft, Bridgewater was traded to the Denver Broncos for a 6th round pick. The Panthers will reportedly pay Teddy $7 million and the Broncos will chip in $3 million.

Bridgewater, who unfollowed the Panthers on social media early in the offseason and was noticeably let off a team graphic about the future, responded to the news by posting a celebratory gif on his Instagram story.

Panthers fans reacted with gifs and pictures of their own.

It’s clear that this decision was the best for both parties. Now the only question is, what will the Panthers do in tomorrow’s draft?
