Hornets Get National TV Games in NBA’s Second Half

The NBA released the schedule for the second half of the 2020-21 NBA season, which starts after the All Star Break and concludes in early May, and yes-the Hornets are going primetime. Charlotte will have two nationally televised games .

The hype around LaMelo Ball has peaked the interest of the league, and as a result, the Hornets have two games – two opportunities to show the national audience what they are all about as they chase their first playoff berth in years.

On April 1st , the Hornets will travel to Brooklyn to take on the trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden as they take on the Nets on TNT. On April 25th. The Hornets will host the Celtics on ESPN – former Hornets’ All-Star Kemba Walker returns and Gordon Hayward will get his first shot against his old team.

The first stanza of the schedule will be rough when the Hornets face the Denver Nuggets and Lakers on the road in a back to back. If Charlotte remains in the playoff picture around late April, they may get opportunities to bolster their seeding. They will have a seven game home stand and the only contender on the schedule is the Los Angeles Clippers.
