Hornets Have Two Games Postponed Due to Covid Issues

The NBA postponed the Charlotte Hornets’ home games against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday and against the Denver Nuggets on Friday due to Covid-19 issues.

These postponements are part of the fall out from four San Antonio Spurs players testing positive for COVID since their game Sunday. As a result of the tests, the Spurs game against the Detroit Pistons has been postponed as well.

The Hornets are scheduled to host the Golden State Warriors on Saturday at Spectrum Center and so far the game has not been affected.

Per league guidance, the Hornets’ canceled team practice, however, they were allowed to have individual shooting workouts – masked and socially distanced with a coach .

The Hornets played the Spurs without PJ Washington, and Caleb and Cody Martin due to health and safety protocols.
