Panthers Officially Hire Scott Fitterer as General Manager

After interviewing roughly 15 candidates the Carolina Panthers finally have their man. Thursday evening the team announced they’d reached an agreement with Scott Fitterer to be their new General Manager. Full details of the five-year deal have yet to be released.

“We went through a thorough process and it was a great final four,” Tepper told Panthers.com. “We thought Scott was the best fit for the organization.”

Fitterer has been with the Seahawks since 2001, and operated as a co-assistant GM under John Schneider.
